We start, as always, with Endrid confused about best course of action.

Trieskan doesn't want to lose more people - "friends" - by not going back to town
Perhaps could wait for nightfall to make a sneaky return to town? Do vampires ever rest, Trieskan wonders aloud?
Actual sunlight will harm/weaken vampires based on Trieskan's recall.
Radha wants to head to the mountains.
Endrid is skeptical of visiting the mountains - we don't even have a landmark to aim for. we need to kill strahd ASAP
Endrid thinks it sensible to visit the Wizarding Wines, to pick up some fresh wine, hoping to get fresh wine. But then she remembered the ravens said the winery had been destroyed.
Bingdor had no ideas for how to sneak back into town.
The team contemplates "giving up", and incorporating as a microbrewery.
Now the team is considering having Radha shape shift. Into a traveling clown, or a mouse.
Ultimately the plan is for Radha to shapeshift into Izek, and hope they can find Ireena.
After transforming into Izek, Radha impresses the party with a passable impression of what they think Izek sounds like.
The party decides to head for the North Gate.
The party comes across a river, and decides to ford it.
Endrid gets caught in a whirlpool, flailing around. Bingdor decides to employ his lifeguard skills and drags her out of the whirlpool and safely onto land.
"thanks Bingdor. I'm usually a good swimmer", coughs Endrid
the party sees man made gravelly roads, and the city walls ahead.
The party arrives at the Portcullis, which appears open and unguarded.
Radha leads the group through town, and the party attempts to keep up a "we're captured" air
Miles visits the party and extends his blessing on them +1 inspiration point
as the party rounds to the area near the blue cross inn, they hear some sound coming from the west and decide to hide
It was two random townsfolk, carrying cardboard scraps and complaining about the burgo master.
Now the party sees a crowd ahead, and Radha transforms into an average parsnip munching Barovian male.
We walk stealthily up to the town square, which is filled with torch-carrying barovians and they are very angry, throwing moldy parsnips at the stage. Victor V is on the stage, looking an extra pallid Jared Kushner in a sad early rock and roll era Elvis Presley costume. His impersonations are terrible.
The crowd is pissed
"this town sure does get more fucked up each time we come here, eh?" mutters Endrid
A linebacker approaches the square with a large mug, and tells the crowd they should form a government of the people. The crowd is pumped up. A vampire spawn appears and bites into the linebacker's neck.
Chaos ensues. Here come the vampire spawn . again.
The party continues on, running with the stampede. So much yelling, and trampling of NPC's. Even the garlic isn't stopping them.
the party arrives at the mansion which is in bad shape, but still standing. no sign of life in the mansion itself.
Radha re shape shifts back into Izek. The party repeats the safe word so everyone is on the same page - the call of the raven ..
Radha prepares to enter the mansion. Bingdor might try hiding, thought not a lot of good spots. Endrid will be on the watch. Trieskan is scanning the property for windows he can spider climb into , preferably on floor 2.
The door creaks open to an empty, dark foyer.
Outside Endrid and Bingdor hear the Burgomaster hurrying around and talking with some people - at least one. Bingdor whispers for 3 minutes. the footsteps seems to have hastened.
Endrid tries to stealthily grapple Victor, but doesn't pull it off.
Initiative time. 21 for Endrid. 3 for Bingdor. Let's battle <__<
Victor is startled. Endrid with the initiative! She attempts to grapple with axe point. Hello Victor, she menacingly says to him.
Radha meets up with Trieskan, who opens up the door to the doll room. the room is a mess, and has been ransacked. They hear a weak shriek from outside, and Endrid doing her best Wolverine impression threatening the burgomaster. Maybe Bingdor can get a better reading from Ireena as to where she might be.
Victor starts panicking, muttering how ungrateful the party is. We need to get outta here boys and girls! I don't know where Ireena is! She stole my book! She ain't in my house!
Radha, as Izek, knocks the Burgomaster out cold. The intern is perplexed, and frozen in place.
Endrid now decides she should consider how genuine Victor was. Upon further review, it didn't seem like he knew what he was talking about. Endrid informs the intern that she will be coming with the party and help us find Ireena.
The intern is oddly tough for someone who just started in the position. She also criticizes Radha's disguise, calling it "cute".
monkey jumps out at us in front of the shop. he was out at the roof in silhoutte. Let out quite the shriek.
Trieskan fiddles with the back door, which appears unlocked. He stealthily sneaks in to make sure it's all safe. He is in the storage area. Peers over to see Blinksy, tidying up toys in front of the display. He's humming a mariner's chant to himself. Rather odd. Trieskan tries to sneak by him to look around. He gets to the second floor and starts looking around a bit more. Decides to look in Blinksy's bedroom - looking for a closet.
Endrid surprises Blinksy. "oh no, it's you, what are you doing here??"
Hello Blinksy, I'm here, pretty alone, looking for Ireena who is here, the one you make all the dolls of.
in the distance, Endrid hears a muffled shriek that sounded like Piccolo the monkey.
Endrid starts turning violent, threatening Blinksy that his head shall be split in two if he doesn't start helping the party find Ireena.
Bingdor and Radha head inside, after hearing the sound of shrieking.
Blinksy swears he doesn't know anything and that the party should get out of town while they still can.
Radha goes to an area where Blinksy was looking. There are floorboards, and an empty looking area. Radha raises the monster arm of Izek and mightily hits the ground, and nothing happens, as she only has the power of Radha, and no real extra strength. The floorboards did move a bit in a way that revealed a trap door.
Radha works on opening the trap door. Blinksy gets uneasy. Best bet is for everyone to hide - in the basement - other thn Endrid who will stay with Blinksy.
Everyone is now down in the basement on top of each other.
Trieskan attempts to open the door, which quietly opens. Trieskan sees the back of Ireena, and a few Ireena dolls scattered around. There's an old tray of takeout from the Inn. 10x10 room - pretty small. Her face is nearly white, she looks like garbage atm.
"Who the fuck is she?", Ireena weakly motions at the intern.
